Identity expertise on tap: introducing our new Training Plus+ packages

For more than a decade, we have gained an international reputation as the go-to company for training courses and tools focusing on Microsoft hybrid identity technologies that underpin security and governance.

But our customers want more!

Many customers who have been on our training courses go on to implement their own identity solutions (using MIM, Azure AD Connect and Azure AD) – but nearly all of them hit a bump in the road at some point, or simply need some advice or help with particular features or overall system design.

Our sister companies in Oxford Computer Group offer full implementation services – but getting in consultants to help with small issues can take time to arrange and may not be cost effective.

Training+ provides this kind of occasional support within a reasonable time-frame – everything from resolving minor issues to sanity checking disaster recovery plans, to mentoring staff, to providing an extra pair of hands as and when needed.

In addition to our highly rated instructors, we have an expert “behind-the-scenes” team who ensure our courses and tools are always up to date with the latest developments in technology and best practice. They are perfectly placed to help customers with all kinds of identity-related issues.

We’ve provided this type of support ad hoc until now. Training+ is a formal programme to meet this demand.

What is Training+?

Training+ offers flexible and cost-effective annual packages which enable organizations to benefit from our training and support services, as and when they need them, at a discounted price.

How does Training+ work?

Training+ packages allow customers (businesses, organizations, or individuals) to pay in advance for training and support services in return for what is effectively a discount on our standard pricing. You buy vouchers valid for one year from purchase. We issue bonus vouchers based on the level of advance payment – see table. At the end of the year, unused vouchers can be rolled into a new package. If you choose not to buy a new package, unused vouchers can be used at 50% of their original value during the following year.

You can choose to buy USD, GBP or Euro vouchers.

Here are a couple of examples….

Example 1: An organization buys an Alto Training+ package in USD for $10,000. We add $2,000 worth of vouchers – so they can spend $12,000 on our public and online training courses and support services in next 12 months. At the end of the year, they have $1,200 worth of vouchers left over. They choose to buy another Alto package for $10,000, giving them $13,200 of vouchers to spend in the next year.

Example 2: An organization buys a Stratus Training+ package in GBP for £5,000. We add £1,000 worth of vouchers – so they can spend £6,000 on our public and online training courses and support services in next 12 months. At the end of the year, they have £500 worth of vouchers left over. They choose not to renew so have £250 worth of vouchers to spend in the following year.

What is not included?

  • We are not a full consultancy – our sister companies do that! So we do not take on complete implementations, nor do we provide managed services or 24×7 system support.
  • Private courses for groups are not included in Training+. More information about private training is available here.

Can we use Training+ to buy training courses?

Yes, but not private training courses for groups.

Can we buy more vouchers within a 12-month period?

Absolutely! You can buy more vouchers at any time on the same terms, and they will be valid for another year. Any unused vouchers from a previous package will have their validity extended to match.

What happens if we don’t use all our Training+ vouchers before they’ve expired?

At the end of the year, any unused vouchers can be rolled into a new package. If you choose not to buy a new package, unused vouchers can be used at 50% of their original value during the following year.
